The special team of Indian experts who came to investigate the fire incident has departed.

The team came to the Maldives to investigate the fire that engulfed the building housing parts of the Housing Ministry, Environment Ministry, Construction Ministry, and Male' City Council on the 12th of this month.

A police media official told "One" today that the team returned to India on the 22nd of this month. He also said that the findings so far will be shared with the media later.

In a message sent through police media on the 20th of this month, Police Commissioner Ali Shujau said that a special team of Indian experts has arrived in the Maldives to investigate the fire incident that occurred in the building housing parts of three ministries and the Male' City Council office.

Even before the team began their investigation, the work of cleaning the Housing Ministry was underway. The exact cause of the fire incident has not been determined yet.

The buildings of the Housing Ministry, Construction Ministry, and Environment Ministry were completely burned and destroyed, and some important documents and servers in those buildings could not be saved.

The operations of the Housing Ministry, Environment Ministry, and Construction Ministry have been temporarily relocated to Dharubaaruge. And the services of the Male' City Council are temporarily being provided at the Thaajuddeen School hall.
