North Galolhu MP, Eva Abdulla has said that it was a shame to say that developmental projects will only be carried out if an MP votes in favour of the government.

Eva's statement came in a tweet sent out on Sunday. She added that we changed the Presidency to find a day where we will not hear such a thing again. However, she did not clarify as to why or who she was directing her tweet at.

Eva was unavailable for a comment during the time of press, hence no further details are available regarding the news. However, there have been differences of opinion within MDP regarding who should become the Speaker of the Parliament.
