United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has condemned the increasing global impunity, pointing to conflicts in Ukraine, Gaza, and Sudan.

In his speech at the UN General Assembly, Guterres criticized governments and groups for violating international law without consequence, leading to widespread suffering.

He warned that Lebanon, already destabilized, risks becoming another Gaza due to escalating violence between Israel and Hezbollah. Guterres also highlighted the devastation of the Russia-Ukraine war and called for a just peace based on international law. Addressing Sudan, he condemned the power struggle between the army and paramilitary forces, which has led to a humanitarian crisis.

Despite the grim outlook, Guterres expressed hope that global challenges like war, climate change, and nuclear threats can be addressed, though the world faces an uncertain future.
