Former Vice President, Dr. Mohamed Jameel Ahmed has taken part in a Tharaweeh dinner with the former President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom and the leadership of PPM/PNC coalition.

Tweeting a picture with the former Vice President at the event held at the PPM Office, last night, the Vice President of PNC, Ahmed Mohamed Hussain Manik, said that Dr. Jameel is a strong political figure.

While Dr. Jameel had taken part at a Tharaweeh with the oppositions, the PPM Council had approved Dr. Jameel to join the PPM leadership. The council also approved the former Home Minister Umar Nasser as well.

Dr. Jameel was President Yameen's first Vice President before being impeached with an allegations of attempting to throwing the government. He then worked against President Yameen.

After three years in the UK, Dr. Jameel returned to the country after now President, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih won the election
