Criminal Court has ordered the four men arrested in connection with last night's violence near Dharubaaruge to judicial custody pending investigation.

The fight broke out near Dharubaaruge around 2230hrs last night. While one person injured in the fight was treated at Senahiya, four men were arrested.

In a message to the media, Police said that the four were brought to Criminal Court with ordered to remand them until investigation is closed.

Following last night's violence, another fight broke out in Male' and Hulhumale' in which three people were attacked and a police officer suffered injuries.

It is not clear if there is any link between the two incidents.
