Two more fights broke out today after the fight near Dharubaaruge last night.

A man was injured in a fight near Dharubaaruge at around 10:30 pm last night. Police revealed that they have arrested four men in connection with the incident.

They further added that reports of another fight were received around 4:07 am, near Filigas Magu in Hulhumalé.

When police arrived at the scene, the assailant tried to flee in a car. When police tried to stop the car, he hit a policeman and the car fled, they said.

Police said one of the two men inside the car that hit a police officer has been arrested and the other is being sought.

The injured man and the policeman were treated at the Hulhumale Hospital and released.

The second fight took place at 12:45 pm today near the Shaheed Ali Mosque in Henveiru. Police said two people were injured in the fight and are being treated at the IGMH.

It is unknown whether there was any connection between yesterday's and today's fights.
