Two people have been injured after a launch ran aground on an uninhabited island near Th. Kinbidhoo.

Police said the incident occurred around 1700hrs and two out of the three people on the launch suffered injuries.

Photos from the scene revealed the launch was badly damaged as well.

Police are investigating the incident further.
