A local woman who travelled to Saudi Arabia for Hajj Pilgrimage has passed away.

Islamic Ministry said in a statement that Fathimath Hafiza, 80, from R. Hulhudhuffaaru passed away in Makkah on Wednesday night.

Her funeral prayers will be formed at Al-Masjid al-Haram after Duhr prayer.

Additionally, a local pilgrim who suffered a heart attack is reported to be in stable conditions.
