Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) has announced that the rents for Alimas Carnival area is to be paid to Male' City Council starting 1 June.
In a post on X on Tuesday, MIRA said more information will be available from the City Council. The Carnival area house a number of cafe's and restaurants, with a. private parking zone as well.
The stage area is also leased for various functions and gatherings.
One was unable to get further details from City Council as the media officer and the Mayor were unavailable when called.
