Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has announced the Hulhumale' Channel area will be closed on Saturday.

HDC said the area will be closed from 0930 - 1400hrs on Saturday.

As such, jet ski's dinghies, and swimming in the area will be prohibited during the time, HDC said.

The Corporation said that this was to ensure the safety of the public and HDC's workers during the time work is ongoing in the channel.
