Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) has opened applications for admission to the apprenticeship programme with a monthly allowance of MVR 5000.

MPL said in a statement yesterday that this year's apprenticeship programme has 8 slots for tug operators and 9 slots for automotive maintenance.

The selected apprentices will be given a monthly allowance of MVR 5,000 for the 6 month duration of the apprenticeship programme.

MPL said application is open until 1530hrs on Monday.

Applicants interested in the programme can apply online, MPL said. This year's apprenticeship programme is being conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs.
