A motorcycle was set on fire in the parking zone in front of the Parliament last night.

Police said a fire was reported at 3:03 am last night in the parking zone near Hotel Jen on Medhuziyaaraiy Magu.

Seven motorcycles and a van were damaged in the fire, three of which were burnt beyond use, police said.

Police said the man who set the motorcycles on fire has been identified and efforts are being made to arrest him.

Police are investigating the incident further.
