The captain of a speedboat has been arrested following the death of a man who was hit by the speedboat while he was fishing near ADh. Dhangethi.

The victim was pronounced dead when he was taken to the Dhangethi Health Centre, police said. He was identified as a Bangladeshi man.

Police said the captain of the speedboat that hit the deceased has been arrested, adding that the captain is a Maldivian.
