Ooredoo Maldives wins 'Small Markets Telco of the Year'

Ooredoo Maldives has won the 'Small Markets Telco of the Year' at Twimbit Telecom Awards.

Ooredoo Maldives won the award against nominees including Dhiraagu and Brunei's DST. The award was conferred at a ceremony held in Singapore on Tuesday.

"This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our incredible team, whose relentless efforts have made this achievement possible," Ooredoo Maldives CEO Khalid Al-Hamadi said, adding that winning the award was a great honour.

The award ceremony was attended by major tech and telco companies in Asia Pacific Region including Rakuten Mobile Japan, Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel and Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison.
