Chief Spokesperson at the President's Office, Heena Waleed, has stated that the Fourth International Conference on Small Island Developing States (SIDS) 4 in Antigua and Barbuda was a great success and that Maldives has achieved intense milestones.

Speaking at a press conference held by the President's Office, Heena said that during SIDS4, the President addressed several topics that are significant to Maldives and the citizens, including facilitating access to international funding and providing financial assistance to more small island nations.

She added that President Dr. Muizzu also supported efforts to mitigate climate change and the challenges encountered by SIDS.

Heena highlighted President Dr. Muizzu's meetings with the Heads of State and leaders of several countries he met on the sidelines of SIDS4.
