MET Office has said that strong winds and rough seas are expected across the country over the next three days.

As such, MET Office urged seafarers to remain alert when traveling by sea in the upcoming days.

According to MET Office, thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds of up to 22-27 miles per hour and gusts of up to 45-55 miles per hour are likely to prevail over the country and seas will also be rough.

Therefore, MET Office and authorities are advised to be cautious of the weather and take precautionary measures to minimise the risks and damage caused by high seas.
