The Heritage Ministry has announced the 3 islands where this year's Al'ha Eid will be celebrated at the national level.

According to the Ministry of Heritage, Eid will be celebrated at the national level in R. Ungoofaaru, Dh. Kudahuvadhoo and GA. Villingili.

According to the Ministry, the three islands were chosen because they submitted the best proposals. Additionally, the Ministry chose three islands to include northern, central and southern regions in the celebrations.

The islands have been selected on the basis of the celebrations planned by the Islands for Eid and what the Council will do without incurring any costs, the Ministry said.

This year's Al'ha Eid falls on 17 June.
