The Ministry of Education has decided to shorten the school sessions for the first 3 days of the new academic year, citing bad weather conditions across the country.

In a circular to the schools, Education Ministry said that in light of the weather conditions, arrangements have been made to ensure that students do not miss too many lessons at school.

As such, the Ministry has asked the school sessions to be shortened to 2-3 hours on the first three days.

Additionally, the Ministry urged the schools to focus on teaching students mutual respect and prioritise the well-being and safety of students.
