Mohamed Rasheed has been appointed as the Deputy Secretary General of the Parliament.

He previously served as the Assistant Secretary General of the Parliament.

Mohammed Rasheed, who is also the Principal of Ahmadiyya International School, was appointed as the Deputy Secretary General of the Parliament last week.

It is under the latest amendment to the Rules of Procedure of the 19th Parliament.

The amendment states that there should be two Deputy Secretary General of the Parliament. They are in the administrative and legal spheres.
