Ahmed Zuhoor has been removed from the post of Chairman of Housing Development Corporation (HDC).

The Privatization and Corporatisation Board (PCB) said in a post on X on Wednesday night that Zuhoor has been removed from the post of Chairman of HDC and its Board Member.

Zuhoor was appointed chairman of HDC on February 20.

He previously served as Commissioner General of Customs, Youth Minister, Health Minister and Home Minister in former President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom's administration.

During his tenure as minister in the President's Office, he served as chair of the Economic Council of the President's Office.
