Police have recovered a large number of gunny bags buried in Gaaerifalhu, an uninhabited island in Lh. Atoll.

Acting on a tip-off on Saturday, Hinnavaru Police conducted a search operation and found 91 alcohol bottles and 59 beer cans that were found buried in the island, Police said.

No arrests have been made in the case and the Hinnavaru Police are investigating the matter, they said.
