The three men arrested for allegedly threatening two policemen using a sharp object have been ordered a 7-day remand.

Three Maldivian men, a 35-year-old man and two 39-year-olds, were arrested for threatening two off-duty police officers around 2200hrs on Saturday night.

The men were presented before Court and were given a seven-day remand until investigation is over.

Police are also looking into the arrest after complaints were raised regarding how the men were arrested, Police said.
