Online tokens can now be taken for passport collection after work visa issuance.

Previously, a work visa was issued after appearing at immigration physically.

Immigration said today that from tomorrow, people can get their numbers online from anywhere through the Ant Queue application to collect their passports after applying for work visas.

- 5 or less: Numbers will be issued from 9:00 to 10:30 and service will be provided from 10:00 to 15:00

- 6 or more: Numbers will be issued from 11:30 to 12:30 and the number will be served from 13:15 to 15:00

Immigration said the change will reduce the waiting time in the queue for work visas.
