The victim of a wall collapse Th. Kandoodhoo has been transferred to Malé for further treatment.

A wall collapsed on the 10-year-old while he was on his way home from the beach yesterday evening amid strong winds.

A family member of the child told One Online yesterday that the child was taken to the Kandoodhoo Health Center shortly after the wall fell on him. The child was later taken to the Veymandoo Hospital in the Atoll.

Veymandoo Hospital Manager Hassan Ziyad told One Online that the child was brought in by sea ambulance early this morning for further treatment.

When asked about the details of the injuries sustained by the child, the Veymandoo Hospital said it did not know the information.
