Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Fund for Development, Sultan bin Abdul Rahman Al-Marshad has paid a courtesy call on President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu on Thursday.

During the meeting, the President expressed his gratitude to the Saudi Fund for Development for its continuous support and assistance for the Maldives' prosperity and development. He also expressed gratitude for the kind hospitality extended to him and his delegation during the recent Umrah journey to Saudi Arabia.

Discussions focused on expanding the existing relationship between the Maldives and Saudi Arabia, as well as the ongoing initiatives in the Maldives supported by the aid of the Saudi Fund.

Speaking during the meeting, the Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Fund for Development expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome and assured his continuous support to the Maldives. He also expressed keenness to collaborate and further strengthen bilateral relations.
