The Criminal Court has sentenced a man to 15 years in jail for sexually abusing a child.

Abdul Aziz Adam was sentenced to jail in the case yesterday.

The Criminal Court yesterday ruled that Abdul Aziz Adam was guilty of having sexual intercourse with a child under Article 9(h) of the Special Procedures Against Child Sexual Offenders Act.

Abdul Aziz Adam was sentenced to 15 years in prison for the offence.
