Police have launched a manhunt for three people in connection to a case of fraud and extortion.

Police said they are looking for Ali Shameem, 37, L. Gan, Aishath Nuha, 24, ADh. Kunburudhoo, and Ali Shareef, 25, HA. Thuraakunu in relation to a case being investigated by Hulhumale' Phase II Police Station.

Police said they publicised the details of the trio as their whereabouts are unknown and the summons have not been received by them.

The trio is supposed to present themselves to Hulhumale' Phase II Police Station or the nearest station by 1100hrs on 21 May 2024.
