The roofs of six houses were blown off by a tornado in Haa Alid Dhidhoo last night.
The roofs of six houses were blown off and various damages were caused by the tornado that struck the area around 4:00 am yesterday. However, no one was injured in the incident.
Dhidhoo Council Vice-President Abdullah Waheed told One Online this morning that the roofs of about six houses were blown
off and about 10 or 12 houses were damaged in the rains. The damaged houses are being repaired, he said.
Abdullah Waheed said the roofs of the houses are being repaired with the assistance of the islanders, the council, police, RDC, FENAKA and MTCC.
