President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajida Mohamed on Friday departed to perform Umrah on the gracious hospitality of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.

The President was accompanied by the Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, Head Imaam of the Islamic Centre Sheikh Mohamed Latheef, Chief of Staff of the President's Office Abdulla Fayaz, Minister at the President’s Office for Presidential Affairs Ali Arif and Minister at the President’s Office Abdulla Nasir.

The President and First Lady's delegation are travelling on an aircraft arranged by the Saudi government.
