Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has announced the sale of 13 plots of land from Hulhumale' Phase II beachside.

HDC said the land plots can only be purchased by Maldivians.

The land plots include 1,864 sqft to 2,408 sqft plots, and the starting price is MVR 4,000 per sqft, HDC said.

HDC said the sale will be carried out in two phases - the Corporation opened for expression of interest on Thursday and the second phase will include bidding if more than one party has expressed interest in the land earmarked for purchase.

Applications for purchase of land will have to be made online through HDC's bid portal.
