Maldives Police Service has made some arrests in relation to the theft of Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL)'s Managing Direction Ibrahim Sharif's vehicle.

Police said on Tuesday that the vehicle had been reported missing and the authority has made some arrests in relation to the case. They however did not specify how many people were arrested for the vehicle theft.

Police did not divulge any further information, but stated that the incident is under further investigation.

One has come to know that the vehicle was stolen some time last week but was recovered on last Tuesday.
