A man has passed away after suffering injuries while working on a dredger in Hulhumale' lagoon.

According to police, a migrant worker was injured while working on a dredger in Hulhumale' lagoon on Friday morning. He was taken to Hulhumale' Hospital at 1038 hrs.

Police said the 30-year-old man was declared dead on arrival to the hospital.

Police are currently investigating the incident.
