Police have shut down a Telegram channel used for prostitution and various crimes.

Police said the channel, which was operating under the name of MV Call Girls, was shut down and the case is being investigated.

In March, police shut down several Telegram channels that were running illegal businesses such as prostitution and drug trafficking.

Three people have been arrested so far in connection with the channels, which were operated under the names of Jazeera Admin, Jazeera Girls, Jazeera Scam Alert, Jazeera Link News and Jazeera Escort Gallery.

Two of them are a couple. The other was a taxi driver who helped the couple in prostitution.
