Former MMA Governor, Ahmed Naseer, who was advisor to the Finance Minister, has been transferred to the Foreign Ministry.

Naseer was appointed as the Advisor to the Finance Minister on 12 December last. The post is a ministerial-level post.

Naseer has now been appointed as the Foreign Ministry's Ambassador at Large. The change was made last week, and has now assumed the responsibilities of the new post.

When contacted for a comment, Chief Spokesperson at the President's Office Heena Waleed noted that she would share the information after clarifying the matter.

Besides Naseer, former Finance Minister Ahmed Munawwar was appointed as an advisor to the Finance Minister.
