HDC has signed with Rotime Engineering and Technology Co Limited for the development of a smart & sustainable Warehouse Complex in Hulhumalé.
The complex is being built with the facilities of an automated warehouse management system.
Managing Director Ibrahim Fazul Rasheed signed the agreement on behalf of HDC while Managing Director Zoe Weidon signed on behalf of the construction contractor, Rotime Engineering and Technology Co. Ltd.
Under the agreement, the construction of the warehousing complex is scheduled to be completed within two years.
Speaking to the media at the signing ceremony, Fazul said the complex will be a revolutionary change in the industry. And it will bring a lot of growth to businesses.
The complex will be built with various units for storing various types of goods. These include cold storage, industrial warehousing units and food and consumable storage units. The complex will also have a building with office space and a showroom.
The complex, which is designed to accommodate various types of goods, will be a convenient storage facility for businesses. Small and medium enterprises in particular will have more storage space and the opportunity to expand their businesses, he said.
