Maldives Democratic Party (MDP) has lost Hinnavaru constituency to PNC candidate Mohamed Abdul Rahman.

MDP's Jeehan Mahmood, who represented Hinnavaru constituency in the 19th Parliament, and PNC's Mohamed Abdul Rahman and independent candidate Abdul Salaam Moosa contested for the constituency this round.

Mohamed Abdul Rahman secured 755 votes against Jeehan's 546 votes and Abdul Salaam's 382 votes.
