Police have arrested a man who showed his ballot paper at the polling station, as well as two people who disrupted the vote.

Police posted on X that three people were arrested under 'Operation Blue Tide' - Police operation for the Parliamentary election.

Two men were arrested for disrupting vote in GDh. Fiyoari and a man was arrested in Male' City for showing his ballot paper, Police said.

Police have been active around voting stations to maintain peace and manage traffic.

Police are also using body-worn cameras as part of 'Operation Blue Tide' in Male' City and islands with larger populations.
