President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has urged the people to exercise their right to vote at the 2024 Parliamentary Election as soon as possible.

Voting started at 8:00 am today across the nation. Arriving at the polling station at 8:40 am, the President told reporters that voting is a right and responsibility given to every citizen by the Constitution. Therefore, he urged everyone to come out and exercise their right to vote as soon as possible.

"It is everyone's right to vote as soon as possible without necessarily waiting until evening. I urge everyone to do so," he stated.

The President cast his vote at a ballot box set up at Thajuddin School.
