President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has urged the people to make tomorrow's vote count as one that will show results.
Speaking at a rally at the Artificial Beach in Male after wrapping up the campaign for PPM/PNC, the President noted that the Parliament can bring the government to a standstill, adding that he does not wish for it to happen so.
The President said that if the government candidates are elected to parliament, the pace of development will be accelerated many times and the people will witness results in everything they want.
"I only care about the result. I think the people will only care about the result too. I don't want to waste a second in producing those results. Make tomorrow's vote count towards that," he said.
The President said he took over the government to do a serious job and that is why the people should elect the 93 government-backed candidates to parliament.
"Why should we give space to people of other mindsets for five years? What will be achieved? Nothing will be achieved," he said.
The President added that the government has been producing results despite the difficulties.
