Housing Ministry has said that no applicant will be excluded from the 'Binveriya' and 'Gedhoruveriya' scheme against policy.

In a statement released on Thursday, Housing Ministry said that there are rumours being spread on social media about the Ministry's policies. The Ministry said that the Administration's aim is to provide housing to as many citizens as possible.

"The Administration's aim is to ensure housing for as many citizens as possible under these two schemes. We will not exclude anyone against policy," the statement said.

The Ministry further said that the housing project is a significant one that has a great impact on all citizens. As such, the Ministry urged to refrain from spreading false allegations regarding the schemes.
