HA. Vaangaru has been added to HA. Thuraakunu jurisdiction, and Galagili falls to AA. Ukulhas jurisdiction under a presidential decree.

The President made the decision as per the amendment made to the Decentralisation Act on 14 October 2023.

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has been adding some lagoons to the jurisdiction of some islands.

As such, he has decreed ADh. Maafarufalhu as part of ADh. Mahibadhoo and Farumuli and Kandimahuraa as part of N. Maafaru. He has also decreed AA. Velidhoodhigga as part of AA. Bodufolhudhoo.
