Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has revealed that they have mobilized Vaavu Thinadhoo Harbor Development Project site on 16th April 2024.

According to the company, the scope of works includes, 12,800cbm new harbor basin dredging operations, 860cbm channel dredging operations, 77m breakwater, 482m revetment, 249.66m quay wall, installation of 1,847sqm harbor pavement, construction of bridge (16m x 2m), construction of ramp (10m x 9m), installation of harbor lights and mooring buoys.

The value of the project is MVR 40.57 million.
