Maafarufalhu has been included in AA. Mahibadhoo's jurisdiction.

The decision was made under a presidential decree on Tuesday which stated that President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has decided to include Maafarufalhu under Mahibadhoo's jurisdiction.

As such, the Decentralisation Act which regulates the governance of inhabited islands in the Maldives has been revised to include Maafarufalhu under Mahibadhoo jurisdiction, the presidential decree stated.

President Dr. Muizzu on Monday decreed Farumuli and Kandimahura as part of N. Maafaru jurisdiction and Velidhoodhigga as part of AA. Bodufolhudhoo jurisdiction.
