MTCC to commence RTL bus service in N. R. and B Atoll and introduce high speed ferry between Mulaku Atoll and Male'

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has entered into an agreement with the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation to launch speed ferry services between Mulaku Atoll and Male’ City, as well as RTL Ferry services at N. R. and B. Atoll.

CEO Abdulla Ziyad signed on behalf of MTCC, while Minister Mohamed Ameen signed on behalf of the Ministry.

Currently, RTL Ferry services are operational in Zone 1 (Ha. Hdh and Sh. Atoll), Zone 2 (Lh. Atoll), Zone 5 (Ga. And Gdh. Atoll), and Zone 6 (Fuvahmulah and Addu City).

MTCC is now expanding RTL Ferry services to the remaining atolls, aiming to connect the entire Maldives through a reliable ferry network. This project aims to introduce reliable, efficient, convenient, and sustainable passenger ferry services to all administrative islands of the nation.
