President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has arrived in Addu City on an unofficial visit.

The President was welcomed by the City's residents at Gan International Airport area when he arrived on Friday evening.

President Dr. Muizzu spent around half an hour greeting the residents gathered to welcome him. The President is visiting Addu City as part of the campaigns for the upcoming parliament election.

President Dr. Muizzu arrived in Addu after concluding his visit to Laamu Atoll earlier today. During his trip, the President visited L. Maavah, L. Isdhoo, L. Dhanbidhoo, L. Fonadhoo and L. Gan where he met with the councils and the residents of each island.

The President is scheduled to arrive in Male' City on Saturday.
