President Dr Mohamed Muizzu on Thursday departed on an official visit to several islands of Laamu Atoll.

During this visit, the President is scheduled to visit numerous islands in the Atoll, where he will discuss community priorities and developmental needs with councils, Women's Development Committees (WDCs) and residents.

A senior Government delegation accompanies the President on this tour.

Following the visit to Laamu Atoll, the President is expected to undertake an unofficial visit to Addu City Hithadhoo on April 12th.
