President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has stated that the opposition comes up with various narratives about the administration because they have nothing substantial to criticise and that he is not someone who would go back on his word.

The President made the remarks while answering a question on 'Raees ge Javaab' program regarding criticism from the opposition.

He said that the administration has been providing transparency in all their endeavours to the media in writing and on various forums.

"The opposition has been coming up with various narratives because they have nothing substantial to criticise. You can see all the presidential pledges in writing, I have not hidden anything from the public. Every pledge made regarding every island has been recorded," President Dr. Muizzu said.

He assured that he will be transparent during his tenure and only make pledges that can be fulfilled.

"You will notice that the opposition has their own narrative for everything, even when you can see how the administration has been working on things transparently. I am not someone who will lie to the public. I will always do everything in the best interest of the nation," President Dr. Muizzu said.
