Maldivian is gearing up to commence sea plane transfer to AA. Thoddoo.

Thoddoo Council's president Ahmed Karam posted on Facebook on Wednesday that a Maldivian sea plane has arrived in the island for initial survey.

"This marks the end of a long wait. We are hopeful the service will commence soon," Karam said.

Thoddoo has the most tourist visits after Maafushi, with 100-150 tourists visiting the island daily.

Maldivian has been introducing more sea plane routes to contribute to local tourism. As such, the airline flies to B. Fulhadhoo as well.
