Another accident in Gn. Fuvahmulah has left a man with multiple injuries.

Police said on Wednesday that the accident had occurred on Tuesday night when a motorbike lost control and crashed into an excavator. The incident was reported to police at 2345hrs.

A 27-year-old Maldivian man sustained multiple in the accident, police said. They however did not provide any further details on the extent of injuries.

The man has been transferred to Male' after initial medical intervention at Fuvahmulah Hospital.

Videos of the accident that have surfaced on social media show the man passed out with heavy bleeding from his right arm.
