Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) Deputy Managing Director Bassam Adam has been suspended.

One Online has learned that he was suspended early yesterday.

While he has been suspended, a case of alleged sexual harassment of female employees of the MMPRC has surfaced on social media. Bassam has not yet commented on the allegations.

The MMPRC said it had not formally filed such a case against Bassam. However, management is working to verify the information received. The company said it would take necessary action after the disciplinary committee's investigation.
